Saltwater pool conversion

For anyone who has sensitive skin, converting to a saltwater pool may be a benefit.
After swimming in a chlorine pool, skin can be left dry and sometimes itchy.
Whereas swimming in a salt water pool will feel silky smooth, and leave your skin in
better condition, anyone with a skin disorder may benefit from the switch to a saltwater
pool system. Another benefit, due to the density of the water, swimming in a salt pool
can make your body slightly more buoyant. Whatever your reason for switching, you
will notice that your pool water is brighter and cleaner than before.

We are often asked, can you change my pool to saltwater, and the answer is yes! While there are many saltwater conversion kits on the market, we recommend leaving it to the experts. When making the switch, everything has to be set up correctly. Installing a salt-chlorine generator means that the water in your pool will have chlorine, but it will have been naturally generated. Your pool will still need to maintained and cleaned in the same way a regular pool is. But the benefits of enjoying clear, clean saltwater, are well worth making the change.

There are, of course, differences in running a chlorine pool vs a saltwater pool. The length of time you run your pool pump and the water temperature have different effects on your swimming water. Getting the chemical balance correct is also a consideration.
